MISSION & VISION
Supporting the Fire Departments and Firefighters in the Piedmont Region
The Piedmont N.C. Firefighters' Association (PNCFA) was formed as an extension of the North Carolina State Firefighters' Association (NCSFA) to allow for information sharing and representation on the local level. Our mission is to exchange ideas, share information on the local level, and support the fire departments and firefighters in the Piedmont Region (District 2) of N.C.
The PNCFA's overall area is divided into representative counties located in a "North Region" and a "South Region."
The PNCFA North Region consists of the following counties: Surry, Stokes, Rockingham, Caswell, Person, Granville, Vance, Warren, Yadkin, Forsyth, Guilford, Alamance, Orange, Durham, and Franklin.
The PNCFA South Region consists of the following counties: Davidson, Randolph, Chatham, Wake, Stanley, Montgomery, Moore, Lee, Harnett, Union, Anson, Richmond, Scotland, Hoke, and Cumberland.
Quarterly meetings are scheduled annually in the months of January, April, July, and October; and held at various locations within the PNCFA's regions to share information, provide general reports, provide educational opportunities and give updates to the membership in attendance.
The PNCFA is led by an elected Executive Board who is also charged with making sure our general membership is represented at the state level on the Boards of the North Carolina State Firefighters' Association (NCSFA), the North Carolina Association of Fire Chiefs (NCAFC), and the N.C. Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NCFFF).
The Executive Board is also charged with making sure the funds are available to the participating membership for scholarships, educational opportunities, and day to day operations of the PNCFA. The quarterly financial statements are evidence of a thriving and healthy association. Your current PNCFA Executive Board Members are listed HERE
