BROOKS – WARD EDUCATIONAL SPONSORSHIP

Annually, the PNCFA provides two (2) $750 sponsorships to member departments that desire to send representation to the annual N.C. Firefighters’ Association “South Atlantic FIRE RESCUE Expo” (SAFRE) and or the N.C. Association of Fire Chiefs “Mid Winter Conference.”

 

Each year, fire-rescue service personnel from all over North Carolina and the Southeast come together at these premier conferences for skill building and learning seminars that will enhance their knowledge, helping them to better serve their
communities.

 

These annual conferences are an excellent opportunity to refresh everyday skills, learn new approaches and techniques, and network with others in the fire-rescue service industry from all over North Carolina and the south east. It is a fantastic opportunity for our members to attend two of the largest fire service conference opportunities in North Carolina.

The PNCFA Scholarship Committee will accept applications from January 1 to May 30 annually and will select the grant recipient based upon the demonstrated interest and financial need of the member department. The grant recipient will be contacted by June 15 annually.
