The Piedmont North Carolina Firefighters' Association is proud to offer to eligible PNCFA member or dependent of a member.  Our scholarship application period opens January 1st of each year and the deadline is March 31st.

NOTE: To apply for this scholarship, you MUST be a member of or a dependent of a member who is a member of a Fire Department or Fire Marshal’s office located in the Piedmont Region.

Scholarships:

Two Recipients will be selected for each scholarship listed below for the Ted Armstrong and Chris Hooper Scholarships.  Once recipient will be selected for the Chief Bobby Wilson Master's Degree Scholarship.

• $2,500 Ted Armstrong Associate's Degree High School Graduate Scholarship

• $2,500 Chief Jerry Brooks Bachelor's Degree High School Graduate Scholarship

• $2,500 Chris Hooper Firefighter Associate's Degree Scholarships 

• $2,500 Chief Donald Whitaker Firefighter Bachelor's Degree Scholarship

• $2,500 Chief Bobby Wilson Master's Degree Scholarship (Chief Officer Level career or volunteer department)
